Helping support Queensland drought affected farmers

Rural Aid Australia through their Buy a Bale drought relief program are working with the Caloundra Power Boat Club and the Sunshine Community in raising funds for a Sunshine Coast spring hay run.
All funds raised by the Sunshine Coast Community and the Caloundra Power Boat Club will go towards the Sunshine Coast hay run departing the Sunshine Coast Sunday 27th November 2016.
The Sunshine Coast hay run will not only go towards helping Queensland drought stricken farmers but their communities and so many more people.
For as little as $20, members of the Sunshine Community can ‘buy’ a bale of hay at the Caloundra Power Boat Club, donate money for hay into donation barrels at various sites on the Sunshine Coast or come to a fund raising dinner at the Caloundra Power Boat Club on Saturday 24th September 2016 to raise funds to help feed struggling livestock.
All money raised by the dinner will go on to buy bales of hay for the Sunshine Coast hay run.
The Caloundra Power Boat Club which is renowned for supporting local suppliers and community groups has just announced that Maleny Dairies will supply all its dairy products from the 1st July 2016.
Ninety percent of Caloundra Power Boat Club’s supplies will now come from local suppliers.
