Located in the beautiful location of Golden Beach the Caloundra Power Boat Club is an amazing mix of Quarterdeck restaurant, Portside Café and our three award winning function rooms on our top floor. All of this is overlooking the beautiful waters of the Pumicestone Passage, you can almost reach out and touch the pelicans.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for committed and highly motivated individuals to join our dedicated team of hospitality professionals at the Caloundra Power Boat Club. The right candidate for the role will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer support. You will have a positive, can-do approach and a willingness to contribute to our vibrant, incredible team.

 

*  Cellar Person

Previous experience in the Cellar preferred, though relevant skills that can be transferred will be considered. Cellar starts the day at the Club, setting rooms, replenishing the kegs room, stocking fridges etc.

• Casual role, three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
• Early starts (6am)
• There are manual & physical parts to this role

 

*  Courtesy Driver

As the first point of contact for our members and visitors, our Courtesy Drivers are integral to the Club

• LR licence required for the role as is a Drivers Authorisation
• Local knowledge preferred but not essential
• Nights and weekends are involved with this role
• 15-20hrs

 

*FOH Attendant

Previous experience not necessary we are happy to train, we are looking for personality and great customer service

• Previous experience is not essential but preferred
• 15-20hrs

 

* Beverage/Gaming Attendant

• 15+ hrs
• Previous experienced preferred

 

* Qualified Chef / Cook

Qualified Chef / Cook ensures the provision of high-quality meals and service to Club patrons in the most timely and effective manner possible.

Pre-requisites:

• Diploma of Commercial cookery or relevant Trade certificate
• 1 years experience as a Chef or 2 years experience as Cook within Hospitality Industry
• Previous experience working in a fast paced kitchen
• Previous experience catering for functions and events
• Knowledge of all aspects of kitchen operations including the preparations, fryers, grill, pans and function service.
• Have good availability across 7 days (weekends & Public Holidays)

 

*  Kitchen Hand

Kitchen Hands ensure hygiene standards and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchens and/or other food related outlets. Kitchen Hands assist chefs and cooks with food preparation duties.

Pre-requisites:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand in Hospitality Industry
• Have good availability across 7 days (weekends & Public Holidays)
